Dagli Stati Uniti al cuore dell’Italia, l’Umbria, approda la musica Jazz. In particolar modo a Perugia dove ogni anno si riuniscono tutti gli appassionati e i grandi musicisti di questa affascinante musica. In occasione di questo fenomeno internazionale è stato dedicato un luogo in cui la musica è entrata a far parte di uno stile di vita: l’Hotel Giò Jazz Area. Fuori dai canoni della tradizione alberghiera l’Hotel Giò si inserisce come ambiente unico nel suo genere, innovativo ed originale. Ogni sala, ogni arredo ha un richiamo al mondo della musica Jazz. Dai pianoforti che arredano le sale, e che possono essere usati dagli ospiti per mini concerti o solo per diletto; ai sottopiatti composti da dischi musicali di vinile. Le pareti delle camere da letto sono decorate con spartiti musicali, mentre quelle del Centro Congressi (annesso alla struttura) sono rivestite interamente con immagini raffiguranti i grandi maestri assieme ai loro strumenti musicali. Ma non finisce qui! Oltre ad ascoltare della buona musica si possono degustare degli ottimi vini all’interno dell’Hotel Giò Wine Area, collegato alla Jazz Area tramite una galleria dal design sorprendente ed incantevole. Calpestando i tasti bianchi e neri della tastiera di un pianoforte si rimane avvolti dalle note della musica di sottofondo e da suggestive immagini proiettate dai grandi schermi al plasma. Un luogo dunque, quello dell’Hotel Giò, dove la musica si ascolta, si gusta, si vive.

From the United States to the heart of Italy, Umbria, the music Jazz lands.Especially in Perugia where every year gather all the fans and the great musicians of this fascinating music. On the occasion of this international phenomenon has been dedicated a place where the music has become part of a lifestyle: the Hotel Giò Jazz Area. Outside the canons of the tradition the Hotel Giò insert as a place unique, innovative and original. Every room, every furnishing has a reminder to the world of Jazz music. From pianos to decorate the rooms, which can be used by guests for mini concerts or just for pleasure, to the underplates composed by music vinyl disks. The walls of the bedrooms are decorated with musical scores, while those in the Conference Center (adjacent to the facility) are fully lined with pictures depicting the great masters with their musical instruments. But there's more! As well as listening to good music you can taste some excellent wines in the Hotel Giò Wine Area, linked to the Jazz Area through a tunnel from a surprising and enchanting design. Trampling the blacks and white keys on the keyboard of a piano is still enveloped by the notes of music and images projected by the large plasma screens. A place therefore, that of the hotel Giò, where to the music is listened, is tasted, is lived.
